Cuztomi is a UV printing and print-on-demand fulfillment company operating from Gilroy, California, and is a trading name of Booey & Bros LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect when you use cuztomi.com or work with us, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and print your order.
- Information you give us. When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to include such as company name, phone number, order volume, and your message.
- Artwork and files. Any design files you send us in order to get a quote or place an order.
- Order and shipping details. If you become a customer, the names and addresses needed to fulfill and ship orders, including your customers' addresses when we ship on your behalf.
- Site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It records the page visited, the referring source, approximate location by country, and device and browser type. It sets no cookie, assigns you no identifier, and cannot follow you to any other website. We do not use it for advertising.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss whether we are a good fit for your project.
- To produce, quality check, pack, and ship your orders.
- To keep records required for accounting and tax.
- To improve the website and understand which pages are useful.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes.
Your artwork
Your designs stay yours. We use the files you send only to produce your order. We do not resell your artwork, add it to a public catalog, or use it to make products for anyone else. If you would like us to delete your files after a job is complete, ask and we will.
We may photograph finished work for our portfolio. If your order is confidential or under an agreement that prevents this, tell us and we will not photograph or publish it.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the services required to run the business:
- Shipping carriers, in order to deliver your orders.
- Payment processors, in order to take payment.
- Software we use to receive orders and manage email.
- Cloudflare, which serves this site and provides its analytics.
- Our manufacturing partners, where a custom product needs to be produced before printing.
Each of these receives only what it needs to perform its function.
How long we keep it
We keep each kind of information only as long as we need it:
- Enquiries that do not become orders. Up to 24 months, in case you come back to the conversation.
- Order and invoice records. Seven years, as required for accounting and tax.
- Shipping addresses. For the life of the order plus the period in which a delivery issue could arise, then removed with the order record.
- Artwork files. Kept while you are an active customer so repeat orders match your original, and deleted on request at any time.
- Site analytics. Aggregated and retained no longer than 14 months.
Your choices
Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Know what information we hold about you and where it came from.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information, including your artwork files.
- Get a copy of what you have given us.
Submit a request through our contact form and mark it for privacy. We will confirm we received it within 10 days and respond within 45 days. We may need to verify who you are before we act, and we will never charge you or treat you differently for making a request.
California residents
California has two laws that matter here. Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act we are required to tell you what we collect, who we share it with, how you can review or change it, and how we will notify you of changes to this policy. All of that is on this page.
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, applies to businesses above certain size thresholds. Cuztomi is a small business and does not currently meet them, so the CCPA does not formally apply to us. We have chosen to honor its core rights anyway, listed above, and if we grow past those thresholds we will update this policy rather than change our practice.
We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We do not exchange it for money or for anything else of value, and we do not disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because of that there is nothing for you to opt out of, and no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, since we would have nothing to put behind it.
Sensitive personal information. We do not ask for or collect anything California classifies as sensitive, such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, health information, or racial or religious data.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is still no agreed standard for how a site should respond to it, so we do not track you across other websites in the first place, and there is nothing for the signal to change. We do not allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across other sites through ours.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies at all. Our analytics is cookieless, and we use nothing that stores an identifier on your device:
- No necessary cookies either. The contact form posts directly and needs no session, so nothing is stored on your device to make the site work.
- Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics, used to count visits and see which pages are useful. Aggregated, cookieless, and never used to advertise to you.
We do not run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking, and we have no advertising products connected to this site. Cloudflare Web Analytics is a third-party service and its own privacy terms apply to the data it processes. Because it sets no cookie and builds no profile of you, there is nothing to opt out of, though a content blocker will stop it loading if you prefer.
If we ever add a tool that tracks more than this, we will name it on this page and, where consent is required, ask for it before it loads.
Children
The site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold about you, we will tell you directly at the email address we have for you before the change takes effect. We suggest checking this page when you place a new order.
